Cartoonito CEE - May 2026

• New show Baby Lemmings, a more preschool-oriented spin-off of the original Grizzy and The Lemmings, joins the schedule and premieres on 25th May. Yes, we get a new show on both channels each this month, coincidentally both of which are spin-offs of an established IP. Baby Lemmings will air daily at 17:55 CET (replacing Lamput), with reruns the day after at 06:55 (replacing the original Grizzy and The Lemmings) and 14:30 CET (also replacing Lamput). The first 20 episodes will air for the premiere batch, with three new 7-minutes segments per day, until 31st May (on the last day only two new segments will premiere as those would be left).
• Meanwhile, before that, the We Love Grizzy and The Lemmings programming block will continue from the end of last month, airing until 10th May. Daily from 16:55 till 18:40 CET.
• Then later on, we will get treated with another new marathon, this time themed after what was once a "minisode"-only feature on Cartoon Network and now treated as a full-fledged show on Cartoonito. Hide n Seek with Lamput starts on 16th May and will air on weekends only, until the end of the month, for almost four hours from 08:20 till 12:15 CET. With nothing but back-to-back shorts of different lenghts with our orange gooey shape-shifting friend and the two mad lab doctors that are after him daily.
• Also continuing from last month, the final season 2 episodes of the 2016 Ben 10 series will "premiere" until 3rd May, with two new 11-minutes segments (only one on the last day) at 15:25 CET.

As for (other) schedule changes:

• From 11th May, the morning slot of SuperThings: Rivals of Kaboom moves to the very beginning of the schdule, at 06:00 CET. The "quantity" of the Lamput showing afterward will not be altered, just that the first part of the double bill will be 7 minutes shorter (starting at around 06:08 CET), while the 06:30 CET part will be expanded to fill up the time of the previous Kaboom showings, until 06:55 CET.
• From 25th May, The Tom and Jerry Show's morning airings will move up to start earlier, with a double bill now airing from 10:15 CET replacing Grizzy and The Lemmings. This is followed by Be Cool Scooby-Doo getting a new additional double bill slot at 11:15 CET, where T&J was until then.
• Basically, this will result in Grizzy and The Lemmings losing all its daytime slots, now only airing from 20:55 CET onwards. Ironic how a new spin-off series, whose tone and purpose is what actually fits for a supposed preschool channel like Cartoonito, starts and on the same day, the original gets almost thrown away. And also more heck is the marathon of Grizzy and The Lemmings airing before that, as if it says goodbye to the original. Idk if it's "fate" or whatever, but something tells me the new show won't last long and will be removed in favour of Grizzy coming back at one point. Since I got used to them pulling things like this.
