Greetings and welcome

 Salutations, folks!

This blog, which I created just last week, is meant to be an informative place regarding every kind of news related to the Cartoon Network and Cartoonito channel variants which are airing in the Central and Eastern part of Europe. That is, Cartoon Network CEE and Cartoonito CEE. From posting the full schedules for every upcoming month, to all the info about highlights, marathons / programming blocks, plus all the episodes premieres with titles and all, for both channels.

For starters, Cartoon Network CEE started out as basically the same feed as it is now, back in 2002. Then, it had audiotracks in Hungarian, Polish, Romanian and English, now (ever since the merger in September 2024) it has also Russian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Sloven and Serbian dubbing as well (in some cases, 100% dubbed, in other cases only the shows alone). Currently it broadcasts in the following regions: the Baltic States, Bulgaria, CIS, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia. If there is one thing that the channel lacks at the moment: the good scheduling. It improved over the course of last year, with the addition of Clarence, Adventure Time and Regular Show at the beginning of 2026, but it still has A LOT to catch up to the its sister feed, Cartoon Network Western Europe.

As for Cartoonito CEE, that one has a larger coverage, as it received additional audiotracks as the years went by, more so that CN ever had. It currently broadcasts in: the Balkans, the Baltic states (except Latvia), Benelux, Bulgaria, CIS, Croatia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Moldova, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia. As for audiotracks, it is dubbed in: Dutch, English, German, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Bulgarian, Czech, Slovenian, Serbian and Croatian. Regarding the channel's problem (which is the case overall in most of Europe), it is basically just Boomerang under a different name. While it does have a focus towards preschool content, for which the brand was (re)invented, it mainly acts as a family channel. Which is why, some Boomerang slapstick series air here, despite others having moved to Cartoon Network. I don't have much problems with that anymore, they can have Mr. Bean and Grizzy and The Lemmings if they really want. But please, Tom and Jerry and Scooby-Doo deserve to be on CN, as they are legacy IPs just like Looney Tunes. They shouldn't be downgraded as properties intented for toodlers, as they have grown to be known today as being associated with Cartoon Network. For God's sake. I just want The Tom and Jerry Show and Be Cool Scooby-Doo to fucking move away from Cartoonito. Those two, at least.

As for myself, for those who already know me, what I am doing on this blog is what I also used to do on the Toonzone/AnimeSuperhero Forums (I am "Daffyrocks" there), at least before I got banned last year. Then I moved everyhing to my YouTube community posts (I wrote the schedules on Google Drive documents till now), until I ultimately decided to move everyhing to my own site, where things will be smoother and I won't interfere with anything or anyone else. Here, the info will be fully detailed and as complete as possible.

I usually take my informations from the Cartoon Network Romania PR, who sends me the highlights every month, plus the schedules, though ever since the new management and feeds merging, they became a bit lenient. In the sense that they send me the incomplete schedules, only to send me the updated variants near the end of the respective month (for the one afterwards). Which is why I also get help from additional sources, like the Hungarian tvmustra.hu schedules site which also seems to receive the line-ups of the two channels from the CN CEE management, though it's another crew from the one that sends me the stuff, as regarding tvmustra, the schedule updates everyday and is the most up-to-date. Enough to help me have the whole schedule for a month in a sufficient time to write it in the one before. I don't want to go into more details about it.

That's all I want to say for the introductory post. Hope you will find my site useful enough if you want to know what is up and what to watch on both Cartoon Network and Cartoonito CEE, the feeds I receive from where I live in Bucharest, Romania.

Peace.
